USED - 1968.5-78.5,
10/43 RING & PINION GEARSET.
Please note that differential ring & pinion gear set designs have changed over the years depending upon gear manufacturer. The pinion depth shim may need to be internally beveled to clear the shaft to gear bevel, otherwise damage to the pinion shaft, and a broken shim, or other damage could occur. Always put a dab of grease on the surface between the shim and the pinion gear and then rotate the shim with your fingers to confirm that the faces meet all the way around before pressing on the bearing!
Please note this is a used gear, and used gear faces always show some wear. Nothing serious, but you should expect any used gear to make some noise! 10/41 USE 4297364, COMPLETE DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLY USE 4304206. CAN USE 4170673 GEARSET WITH MODIFICATIONS. RING GEAR ONLY USE 4220549.
