RETURN POLICY
NO RETURNS WILL BE EXCEPTED WITHOUT A COPY OF
THE ORIGINAL INVOICE
ALL
RETURNS ARE SUBJECT TO A
5% RESTOCKING CHARGE. ANY RETURN NOT ACCOMPANIED BY A LEGIBLE COPY
OF THE ORIGINAL INVOICE WILL BE SET ASIDE WITHOUT ANY REFUND BEING PROCESSED.
ALL RETURNS ARE PROCESSED IN THE FORM OF A
CHECK; NO REFUNDS WILL BE CREDITED BACK TO ANY CREDIT CARD

NOTIFY US WITHIN TEN DAYS
of
the receipt of your purchase that you wish to return your part. Ship parts back
by UPS,
INSURED, with a legible copy of your invoice. If you send back
your parts thru an uninsured carrier and we never get them or get them damaged,
we cannot refund you! Parts returned after ten days may be subject to a 20%
restocking charge. We stand behind all our parts, and will gladly refund any
purchase that you are not completely satisfied by. Our goal is 100% customer
satisfaction with our products! But please remember, most of these items are
hard to find, this may be all there is!
PARTS RETURNED C.O.D. WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!
If you order parts by COD
and then refuse the package, you will be liable for 20% restocking charge
PLUS
ALL SHIPPING CHARGES. If you ship your returned parts back to us COD for
the amount of the return, we will refuse the package (as UPS will not allow us
to inspect the contents before they take our payment).
Upon receipt and inspection of the part in question
,
we will process your return
IN THE FORM OF A CHECK.
Our credit card company does not allow us to credit back refunds. Payments and
Credits are processed twice a month, around the 1st and 15th, so your refund
may not be
IMMEDIATE
.
All parts must be returned in the SAME CONDITION
(except
cores). Please check your part carefully upon arrival to be sure it is the
correct part and is in good shape before installing in your car. Any returned
part must be in the same condition as when sold, to be refunded, we expect to
be able to resell it. The original factory packaging, if any, is also
important!
Please return cores per
the separate core policy included with every shipment that has a core charge on
the invoice!
FUEL PARTS, BRAKE PARTS & ELECTRICAL PARTS
cannot
be returned once they've been installed. Be sure of your troubleshooting
skills. Once these parts have been installed they become used. Used parts are
not refunded as new, if at all!
SPECIAL ORDERS
are usually not
returnable. If you return a special order part your return will be subject to a
minimum of a 20% restocking charge. In some cases we may make an exception to
the restocking charge by taking your part on consignment, which will refund
some of your original purchase price (the exact amount to be determined at the
point of return by C. Obert & Co.). If you prefer us to consider a
consignment, please include a note telling us when you return your special
order. We will then mail you a consignment agreement for you to sign and
return. The best advice is if you question an application; please ask us before
we special order it for you!
ORDERS OF PARTS WHEN THE CUSTOMER PROVIDES THE PART NUMBER
will be filled without us questioning what you are doing. If all the stuff does
not fit the same car, we assume you are working on more than one car, or are
laying in spares for a future project. If you are not sure it’s for your car,
ask one of our trained salespersons to confirm the application.
SPECIAL ORDERS OF PARTS BY YOUR PROVIDED PART NUMBER
may
not be returnable if you give us the wrong part numbers. Some of our suppliers
either do not take parts back, or return shipping to Europe can be more than
the value of the part!
USED PARTS
may not be returnable, or
may be subject to a 20% restocking charge if the following applies: (a)
The
part was removed from a parts car specifically for you; (b)
our used
part supplier refuses to accept the part back
. Please ask when you
order a used part if either of these conditions will apply to your purchase.
OUTSIDE LABOR or LABOR COSTS
cannot be refunded
if you return a part. If you wish to return a part that has an associated labor
cost related to it, the labor charge
will not be refunded.
SHIPPING COSTS
are not automatically
refunded unless it is obviously our mistake. Yes, we do goof up occasionally!
If you ask us to issue a UPS call tag to pick up your return, the call tag
costs will be deducted from your return
UNLESS it was our mistake.
Defective parts must be returned with a written explanation
of
what is wrong and why. Photographs help identify correct parts if we have
supplied the incorrect part. Remember, some items look different than parts
used during production. Defective claims are subject to our inspection by our
trained technician, Chris. Refunds on defective parts may depend on approval or
inspection by the original supplier and may need to be sent back to Europe for
inspection, but this is very rare.
In the case an item is judged to be defective we will refund your
shipping cost at our UPS ground service costs, or ship you replacement items UPS
Ground service at no cost to you. In no case will UPS Air service be used to
ship replacement parts or will UPS Air service costs be completely reimbursed.

NOT pay any Labor charges for repair or replacement
of defective or returned parts. ---------
Purchases made on the basis of opinions or
recommendations or "Tech Tips" made by anyone at C. Obert & Co.
are made at the purchaser's own risk. While C. Obert & Co. makes every
effort to insure accuracy; we do not accept liability for any damages or claims
resulting from actions taken as a result thereof.
REMEMBER:
